my old shoes never part.

i never want to part from my old shoes.

for it protects me.

from getting wet.

feeling hot on my bare feet.

and during blistering winter that could turn my feet ice.

for it is my soul mate.

for we come in a pair.

for i'm very fond with.

for he gives me comfort.

for he gives me courage.

for he makes me look pretty.

and to have move on

to pick another new pair of shoe again.

may just be an answer of:

'i can't let go. i just need a new pair of shoe to move on.

may not be because of i love it.

but out of moving on.

and a need of it'

the particular shoe i've mentioned

will be the shoe i'd treasure most.

the shoe i'd die for.

i'd pay at any price just to keep it
